What You Will Need:

Photo ID

Your photo ID is most likely very handy in your pocket or purse. The most common photo id is your driver’s license or state ID.

Other forms of acceptable photo ids would be:

  • A US passport (current within the past two years)
  • Military ID
  • Current identification card issued by the US Department of Defense (DD-1173-DD-214)
  • Valid, unexpired passport from a country other than the US
  • Permanent Resident Card (recent, recognizable photograph)

Proof of Income

Your proof of income can come in the form of your most recent pay stub. A proof of income letter from your employer can be particularly helpful as it can contain other bits of helpful information about our background. Your Last Year’s Tax Return (1040) will give a complete picture of your last year’s income.

Other examples of Proof of Income documents are:

  • Wage and Tax Statement (W-2)
  • Wage and Tax Statement for Self Employed
  • Profit and Loss Statement or Ledger documentation
  • Bank Statements
  • Social Security Proof of Income Letter
  • Pension Distribution Statement (1099-R)
  • Unemployment Benefits
  • Workers Compensation Letter

Current Mortgage Statement

Your current Mortgage Statement documents your balance, payment history, and other parts connected to your mortgage payments. You can request a mortgage statement from your lender.
